Indication: Bisacodyl is a laxative and is used to help empty the bowels when constipated. It belongs to a class of medications called stimulant laxatives. Bisacodyl tablets work by increasing the activity of the intestines, encouraging bowel movement.

Each bisacodyl laxative tablet contains: 5 mg bisacodyl
The bisacodyl tablets can be used to treat the following:
- Constipation
- Empty the bowels before surgery

How much and how often should you use the product?
Bisacodyl is taken orally, usually in the evening. Bisacodyl normally works within 6 to 12 hours.
It is recommended that a person take only one 5 mg bisacodyl tablet a day. Do not take it for more than one week without talking to your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with one glass of water. Do not split, chew, or crush the tablet as it can release all of the medication too soon.
Do not take bisacodyl within 1 hour after consuming dairy products.
